Introduction
• Arm Muscles are essential in most daily
activities, such as stretches, skipping,
handwriting, and eating. If we didn’t have
arms, we couldn’t do roughly 65% of daily
activities. Be grateful for arms, they are
more useful than you think. We need to
protect our arms, because they are very
important. Stronger arm muscles means
you will do everything that involves using
your arms a lot easier.
#1 Hypothesis
• My first theory of measuring and
comparing arm strength is running.
Running measures your arm strength as
you gain momentum and power by
pumping your arms upward in a punchinglike motion. Say two people are running
together. Lionel has a lot more muscle
strength than Javier. Lionel is better off,
healthier and will live longer.
#2 Hypothesis
• My second hypothesis for measuring arm
muscle strength is tensing your arm
muscles. Say two people are tensing their
arm muscles to measure and compare
their muscle. Jacob has a lot of strong
muscle, and he looks fit. Rob however,
had no muscles what-so-ever, and looked
overweight, and unhealthy. Jacob has
muscle strength, and Rob doesn’t. Jacob
is better of and will live longer.
#3 Hypothesis
• My third hypothesis for measuring and
comparing arm muscle strength is lifting
weights. Lifting weights puts pressure on
your bicep muscles, which causes your
muscles to show. Say there are two
people lifting weights. Samantha is making
it look easy. She looks strong, fit and
healthy with plenty of muscle. Natasha
however, looks like she could faint at any
moment. She is overweight, weak and
unhealthy. Samantha is better off.
Last Hypothesis
• My last hypothesis for measuring and
comparing arm muscle strength is
punching a punching bag. Say two
people are punching a punching bag.
Alicia is taking it quite well, sending the
bag far. Bianca however, is struggling to
keep up with Bianca’s pace. Alicia is
stronger, fitter and healthier. Bianca is
overweight, unhealthy and weak. Alicia is
better off and will live longer.
Conclusion
• To conclude my PowerPoint on measuring
and comparing arm muscle strength, did
you know that two human arms combined
have 64 bones?! Arms are more important
than you think. Say there are two people....... No,
we won’t get into that again. Like I said,
arms are more important than you think.....
