What your student CAN do with his/her
technology:

Research for a project
Create documents
Voting, surveys given by teacher,
Listen to music
WHEN can they use technology:
ONLY when the teacher allows it!
 Teacher discretion
 All other times, the technology needs to be turned
off and stored in a safe place.


What your student may NOT do with his/her
technology:
Texting
 Bullying/threatening
 Gaming
 Taking photos/videos
 Sharing personal info
 Plagiarism



With 1,296 students and only 2 computer labs, we
need more access to technology to enhance
instruction!
What can you do?




Donate! $30 per student will bring us to our goal!
Booster fundraisers: SCRIPTS (gift cards), Harkins,
Spirit Wear
Donate time to serve on our Booster Committee
Tax Credit donations to General Fund




Anyone can donate!
Designate General Fund
Max $400 married couple or $200 single parent
Uses:


Field trips
Clubs





QTR 1 – Metrics and Earth Science
Projects – Metric Monster due 8/14
Challenges – group work!
Homework – not very often 
Lab notebook – graded about every week,
10pts, all notes and worksheets are glued in it!

