covered surfaces like trunk abdomin


Nor more than 6 days

First appear on trunk than on limbs
Mucosal surfaces are involved









and koplik’s spots on buccal mucosal
membranes and macular rashes on body


It is viral infection caused by myxovirus.it is
infectious parotitis having painful chewing
and swallowing tenderness in one or both
parotid glands


Sometimes submaxillary and sublingual
glands are involved

Epididymo-orchitis:sometimes atrophy of

changes,seizures,deafness visual distrubance
and encephalitis

Polyarthritis
Optic neuritis
pancreatitis




