2002 Statistics
 650 visits were made to 45 targeted settings for intensive follow-up.
 3500 contacts were made to children and families via individual assessments
or screenings, letters to parents, parent meetings and phone consultations.
 Health informational newsletters were distributed quarterly to targeted
child care settings impacting 4000 children/and or families.
 85% percent of 1000 participants gained new knowledge on topics discussed
in health presentations.
 90% of targeted settings improved immunization documentation thus
resulting in 50% of parental compliance.
 15 of the 45 targeted settings increased licensed (star-rated) status due to the
impact of the program
