What have we learned?
We know that illustration collage is a
technique that involves sticking
various papers and materials onto a
surface to create an image.
How we can use Illustration Collage in
our work?
What do we need to start?
An A3 image with a PERSPECTIVE
VIEW
Trace a LINE DRAWING
What is this called?
A LAYOUT!
Re-trace or TRANSFER your LAYOUT
onto your A3 white card.
What problems can you encounter
when you transfer the image?
You need to remember to turn your
tracing film over to transfer the
GRAPHITE!
A mirror image appears if you do not
trace on the back and then the front
again!
Next CLEAN UP your line
This does not involve a
Dyson or Hoover!
It means strengthen your line
Next decide which materials and
processes are appropriate for each
section of your picture.
It is a good idea to PAINT the sky.
You can use Sgraffito, Sponging, materials from newspapers
and magazines, wallpapers and fabrics in other areas.
YOU WILL NEED YOUR TRACING FILM IN ORDER TO TRACE
EACH SHAPE OR SECTION ONTO THE MATERIAL OF YOUR
CHOICE.
