time on stopwatch B is more accurate and precise.

Rules to identify sig figs:

1) ALL non-zero numbers (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) are ALWAYS significant.
c. 0.008
2) ALL zeroes between non-zero numbers are ALWAYS significant.

3) ALL zeroes which are SIMULTANEOUSLY to the right of the
decimal point AND at the end of the number are ALWAYS significant.

4. Multiplying and dividing with sig figs
Example: 5 x 5 = 25
30 with sig fig rules
Example: 5.0 x 5.0 = 25 with sig fig rules
Example: 100.00 / 4.00 = 25.0 with sig fig rules
Example: 100.00 / 4.0 = 25 with sig fig rules
When finding the rule, look at the number of sig figs in the question and in the
answer.
The answer must contain the same amount of sig figs as the number in the
question with the LEAST amount of sig figs.
