using a number line.

1) Line up decimal points
2) Starting at the left,
compare the digits in

1) Use a number line. Graph each number.
On a number line, numbers to the
RIGHT are greater than numbers to
the LEFT.
Therefore, 0.5 is greater than 0.25.
