Distributing is when you take the number
outside of the parentheses like so :
3(3+4)
You would need to multiply both numbers inside
the parentheses by the number underlined
outside of the parentheses , for now please
don’t add the numbers inside the parenthesis.
FORMULA:
do you notice how the number outside of the
parentheses is being DISTRIBUTED or multiplied
to the numbers inside the parentheses. Then
after , add the two products together !

• First, do the first pair of numbers:
3•3 =9
