Day!
Johnny and Jenny want to
make Valentine’s Day cards
for their special friends,
Jane and James.
Johnny is going to make
Jane a special card. It takes
him one hour to make a
Valentine’s Day card.
If Johnny started making
Jane’s card at 10:30 AM, when
would he be done?
You’re right! Johnny would
be done at 11:30 AM.
Johnny loves giving
Valentine’s Day cards!
10:30 + 1 hour = 11:30
Jenny wants to make James a
Valentine’s Day card. It takes
her 2 hours to make each
card.
If Jenny started making
James’ card at 3:15 PM,
when would she be done?
