only 2 factors: 1 and
the number itself
Composite Numbershave at least three
factors
0 and 1 are neither
prime nor composite.
The only even prime
number is 2.
2 and 3 are the only
consecutive prime
numbers
Relatively Prime
Numbers- their
greatest common factor
is 1.
This means that the only
number that divides into
both numbers is 1.
Prime
factorization- way
to express a
composite number
as a product of
prime numbers.
Factors divide a
number exactly with no
remainders
Multiples are the
product that results
from multiplying by the
integers 1, 2, 3, 4,…
