Major Concepts/Content: The purpose of this course is to enable students whose
heritage language is Spanish to develop, maintain, and enhance proficiency in
their heritage language by reinforcing and acquiring skills in listening, speaking,
reading, and writing, including the fundamentals of Spanish grammar. Language
Arts Standards are also included in this course to enable students to become
literate in the Spanish language and gain a better understanding of the nature of
their own language as well as other languages to be acquired.

a) Explain the function of verbals (gerunds/participles/infinitives) in
general/in sentences.
b) Form and use verbs in active/passive voice.
c)Form and use verbs in the
indicative/imperative/interrogative/conditional/sibjunctive mood.
d) Recognize/correct inappropriate shifts in verb voice/mood

4. how much money they spent
5. make comparisons on how much they bought and spent
