语法
To indicate the duration of an action:
A: Subj + Verb+ (Obj + V )+(了) +
During of Time(了).
Example:
I have learned Chinese for three years now.
我学中文学了三年了。
 B: Subject + Verb + (了) +Duration of
time + (的) + Object.
Example:我学中文学了三年了--》
 我学了三年的中文。

1st Pattern: Subj + Verb+ (Obj + V )
+(了) + During of Time
It had snowed for quite a few hours
hours yesterday.
 昨天下雪下了好几个钟头。

Sentences with 是...的 (shì...de)
When the context is known by the
speaker and listener, you can use 是…的
structure to describe or inquire about
something already happened.The use of
是 (shì), however, is optional.
 A: 你今年暑假去哪儿了?
 B: 我去中国上中文暑期班。
 A:你是跟谁去的?
 B:我跟我的中文老师和同学一起去的。


 Person A now becomes aware of person B’s action of 去
中國 (went to China), and wants to find out when, how,
and with whom that action was performed.

Both… and…
又+a verb or adj… 又+ verb or adj…

The two adjectives used in this structure are either both
positive or both negative
in meaning,
我哥哥(高,大)

 王朋(聪明,用功)
◦ 王朋又聪明又用功。


If verbs are used, they are often taking place at the
same time.
小王(说,笑)
◦ 小王又说又笑。
 他(喊,叫)
◦ --》他又喊又叫。

