What is a Pronoun?:
A pronoun replaces / takes the place of a noun.
For example:
if we are talking about someone, like Mr.
Lansa, and we didn’t want to say Mr. Lansa
over and over again, we would say,

Tú vs Usted
Both Tú and Usted translate as You in English .
Tú is Informal/casual and can be used with
friends, close family members, younger people
Usted is Formal/respectful and can be used with
more traditional family members, people you
don’t know well, authority figures, and anyone

For some people, it is helpful to think of Usted as
Sir or Ma’am. We can abbreviate Usted: Ud.

In English we must use the correct
conjugation of the verb To Be in order to
sound grammatically correct/normal to other
English speakers.

Actually, unlike English, all Spanish verbs
