You will be working in small groups to read a short text
in Spanish about a specific aspect of Mexican History,
answer questions based on this reading, and create an
informational poster to summarize the 3 most important
ideas that you learned
Your is only allowed to ask me THREE questions for this
assignment. Each time you ask a question, I will take
one of your “preguntas” tickets that will be handed out
after you begin working.
You may, however, feel free to use your own notes,
dictionaries, the textbooks, or other resources around
the room for help (but NOT your phones!)

First, your group will use reading strategies that we
have used previously to get a general idea of what
your specific text is about
Next, your group will work together to answer the
“Despues de leer” questions. You may feel free to
“divide and conquer,” but it’s a good idea to have
everyone read over one another’s answers. All answers
must be turned in on one sheet of paper.
After answering these questions, your group will create
an informational poster summarizing what you believe
are the three most important ideas in your reading
