A noun is a person, place, thing, or idea.
Examples:

An adverb is a word that tells how, when, where, and
how much. In grammar, we say that adverbs
modify/describe verbs. Adverbs often end in –ly.

toward, through, in, off, on
Time: during, at, by, about, after, before
