Parallel Structure is …
The repetition of a chosen
grammatical form within a sentence.
It’s to show that two or more ideas
have the same level of importance.

Think of railroad tracks,
which run parallel to each
other.
If one track
bends along
the line, a train
goes off rails.
The same happens to a
reader:
He or She goes off the track of
logical thought if ideas don’t
run parallel to each other.
