Future Tense
El futuro
Future tense tells what will take
place in the future.
The most common way to talk about
the future is to use:
Ir a + (infinitive)
conjugation of “ir a”
infinitive
Ejemplo: Voy a estudiar
mañana. (I am going to study tomorrow.)
Ir a
Voy a (I’m going to) Vamos a
(We’re going to)
Vas a (You’re going to)
Va a (He/She is going to) Van a
(You’re going to)
(They’re going to)
(You all are going to)
Another way to talk about the
future is to use future tense
endings.
Future tense endings are different from present and past,
because instead of adding the ending to a stem, you add
endings to the end of the infinitive (unconjugated verb).
Ejemplo: Yo estudiaré mañana. (I will study tomorrow.)
