Warm-Up
Interrogative Pronouns:
Interrogative pronouns ask questions. There
are only five of them: what, which, who,
whom, and whose.
Warm-Up
Action verbs can show physical actions and
mental actions. Some examples of action
verbs are: sleep, read, look, breathe, hear,
wonder, dream, jump, run, throw, and
scream.
Warm-Up
A linking verb links the subject to other
words in a sentence. Linking verbs do not
show action. They just say that someone
or something is, was, and will be.
Warm-Up
Adjectives answer three questions.
What kind of? Rachel saw a huge spider
on the floor!
How many? Six children ran into the room
screaming.
Which one? I’ll take that dress.
