

To recline: CANNOT take a

Present Tense:





(all) He had lain down.
To place: MUST take a direct
object
Present Tense:

(all) I laid the gun down.
Present Participle


I/you/we lay the gun down.
He/she/it lays the gun down.
Past Tense

(all) I am lying down.
Past Participle:

Present Participle:


