Verbs
A verb shows the action of the sentence.
 Verbs come in different
forms.
– Action Verbs show
things that are
happening in a
sentence. (Jump,
Throw, Hit, Cause)
Verbs Cont.
 Verbs can also be
state of being verbs or
linking verbs.
– The most common form
of this type of verb is
the infinitive “to be”.
(Am, is, are, will, was,
were, being, and been
are all forms of this one
verb.)
