Learning Goal Math – Area of a closed figure
At the end of the year, your child will take a timed test on
multiplication facts. They need to start practicing their tables
at home.
Learning Goal Science – The Scientific Method – Students will
put their science boards together.
Reading/Lang. Arts – Mrs. Fulton
In Reading this week, we will be focusing on
point of view by determining the point of view of
the main character or the narrator in a story.
Here are some questions to ask when you are
reading with your child:

story?
What is the character’s point of view about this
lesson? (Is it important, impossible, crazy, etc.?)
Is your point of view about this lesson the same or
different than the main character’s? Why?
Next, click on classrooms, 3rd grade, and Mrs. Miller.
In Language Arts, we will be finishing up with
verbs (verb tenses, irregular verbs, and noun-verb
agreement) with a quiz on Monday. Then we will
be working on adjectives. Your child should know
the basics of what a noun, verb and adjective
are!
