Verbs
• Review Verbs• A Verb is a word that tells what
someone or something does or did.
• A Verb can show something that
happens now, in the past or in the
future.

• This week’s verbs do not show action.
• They show what someone or something is or was.
• The verbs am, is, and are tell about now.
• Examples:
• I am an inventor.
• Jen is an inventor.
• Des and Ali are inventors.
