Finley has been doing some marvellous
maths and Ollie has been trying really
hard during maths and literacy.
Lucy is now blending sounds and reading
simple sentences and Kate has moved
from level 1 to level 2 in reading.
Sienna is a Cawthorne Star for
working hard on her writing, both
in English lessons and topic work.
David
produced a
wonderful
pastel drawing
of Queen
Victoria,
looking closely
at the detail.
Owen has been
trying really hard
with all of his work,
contributing well to
class discussions
and he has a more
mature attitude to
learning, always
listening and
wanting to do well.
Mary and Maggie wrote
wonderful character descriptions.
 They chose characters
from the story Fantastic
Mr Fox by Roald Dahl and
used a wide variety of
adjectives in their writing.
Louie accurately weighed objects
in maths.
Excellent warming up skills in
football training. A FUTURE
FOOTBALL STAR!


Molly has really matured
this year. She is a kind,
sensible girl who can be
trusted to carry out her
monitor roles with great
care and attention to
detail.

 Pippa loves to ask

questions! She
remembers key
words in Science
and can relate
them to new
topics. Well done

Lottie and Rebecca are
working hard to achieve
excellent scores in
Arithmetic.
Annie and Joe

Letter Writer
Competition. Arun
is through to the
Area Final. Well
done and good luck.
Libby has made
outstanding
progress in her
science topic on
Earth and Space.
Lydia is a star at
rounding decimals to
the nearest whole
and tenth.
Mysteries were solved.
Grace and Lucy are great authors
Tahlia, Theo and Beth wrote and
illustrated their own mysteries.
George and Isabel showed great
skill using a protractor.
So did Tom and Daniel.
