• The present perfect is formed using the present
of the verb haber + past participle.

• The past participle of regular verbs is

• -ado to the infinitive stem of –ar verbs, and

• The present perfect is called a compound
tense because it consists of two verb
forms:
• The present tense of the verb haber and
