mother Semele, and his
wife Ariadne back from
the dead.

fall in love with Ariadne.
 He found her on the island of
Naxos, she was all by her self.
Dionysus arrived in Argos during
his earthly wanderings with
troops of women from the Aegean
Islands. Perseus blocked his entry
to the city and engaged the god in
battle, killing Ariadne and routing
his troops.


