in Mythology yesterday.

Greek Creation Diagram

 In your small groups, create a diagram
that maps the Creation of the world
according to Hamilton’s Mythology.
Everyone needs this diagram in their
notes.
You only have 10 minutes!

What about the Creation
of Mankind?

There are two stories that are told about
how mankind is created in Greek
mythology.
Regular students, you will look at the first
account of Prometheus and Epimetheus
on pages 84-85.
Honors students, you will look at the
second account of the gods’ creation of
the metallic races on pages 85-86.
Creation Comic Strips

STEP ONE: As a small group, read your
story and write a short summary of what
happens to ensure comprehension.
STEP TWO: Find a partner and you will
create a (minimum of six panel) comic strip
to describe your Creation story.
You will be graded on your accuracy,
creativity, and your use of archetypes and
symbolism to make your comic strip
meaningful.
Homework

 You must either scan or take a picture of
your comic strip and email it to me at
[email protected] by
8:00am on Friday, November 6th.
You will share your comic strip to the class.
