Summary

11 year old Mary Jemison is living a pretty
nice life until… she gets captured by the
Seneca Indians. She misses her family
terribly and wants to return to her
hometown in Marsh Creek, Virginia. She
has to learn to do things the Indian way
and respect the Indian’s traditions. Can she
handle it? Or will she break like a dry corncake? Read the book to find out what
