 Held from 11th to 13th June 2015 at Nay Pyi Taw in Myanmar
 Nineteen delegates, two from each of nine countries and one from
Brunei, attended to the 8th JOIP
Purpose
 To be more friendship between Junior Officers from ASEAN
Armies
 To build friendship network between Junior Officers from
ASEAN Armies
 To learn about Myanmar culture and traditions
9th ASEAN Navy Chiefs Meeting (9th ANCM)
 Held from 19th to 22nd August 2015 at Nay Pyi Taw in Myanmar
 Theme: “ASEAN Naval Teamwork towards the ASEAN
Integration”
 Agreed the following points:
 to adopt the ANCM Roadmap
 to adopt the Standard Operating Procedure for HADR
 to adopt the final Standard Operating Procedure for ASEAN
Multilateral Naval Exercise (AMNEX)
 The following matters will be discussed in 2016
 To submit the concept paper on ANCM Plus Arrangement at
ACDFIM by RMN
 To establish a Working Group for the discussion of the
mechanism of cooperation by RMN
 Approved the upcoming ASEAN Navy Chiefs Meetings
 13th ANCM will be hosted by Cambodia Navy in 2019
 14th ANCM will be hosted by Vietnam Navy in 2020
 15th ANCM will be hosted by Brunei Navy in 2021
 The following matters were also conducted at 9th ANCM
 presented the progress and activities for 4th ANYOI 2015 by
Royal Thai Navy
 updated ANCM on the IFR 2017 with a video presentation by
Royal Thai Navy
