manage issues around schools:
 Public Space Protection Orders
 Environmental Improvements
 Enhanced/New Parking Regulations
 Congestion Zone
 Pedestrian Zone
 Controlled Clearway/Parking Zone
Anti-social Behaviour, Crime & Policing Act 2014
Section 59 Powers to make orders
A local authority may make a public space
protection order if it is satisfied on reasonable
grounds that two conditions are met:
 Activities carried on in a public place within the
authority’s area have a detrimental effect on
the quality of life of those in the locality
 The activities is likely to be of a persistent or
continuing nature
Anti-social Behaviour, Crime & Policing Act 2014
Section 67 Offence of failing to comply with the
Order
It is an offence for a person without reasonable
excuse:
 To do anything that the person is prohibited
from doing by a public space protection order
Eg Enter and or stopping
As the activity of any anti-social behaviour will
be received in the office in real time, it will be
possible to undertake immediate reviews on the
effectiveness of the introduced measures.
These reviews will be formally presented and
any possible recommendations will be
highlighted after:
 One Month
 Three months
 Twelve Months
 Three Years
