Fun Facts about New Years:
*The first New York, new years eve
ball weighed 700 pounds; 6 feet in
diameter. The ball was made of
wood and iron.
*The modern day ball is made of
Waterford Crystal and weighs over
1,000 pounds. There are over 9,000
LED lights, but uses hardly any
energy.
*The ball was not lowered in 1942
and 1943 due to wartime restrictions.
*On New Years eve, about 75% of
parties are with 20 people or less.
*There will be a LTC Family Council
Lunch Meeting January 4th for
December. And we will resume 2016
meetings Monday January 25th 2016.

Happy New Year to All!
Kensington has an exciting year
ahead. Construction will start to come
to an end and be finished by summer.
Just a reminder that access to the
Long Term Care is no longer available
through the Retirement Home. There
is parking for families at the back of
the home for Long Term Care. Follow
the parking lot signs around to the
East end of the building.
As always, come see either of us with
any questions or concerns.
All the best in 2016!

Happy New Year!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with
your family and us here. It was a fun filled year
and I hope this year is even better.
Ronnie has resigned from housekeeping we
wish her well on her new venture.
We welcome Carole from our LTC side, she will
be doing full time housekeeping. We also
added another housekeeper to our team her
name is Alisha, she will be part time.
Our snow contract company will be plowing
and salting our facility, however please be
careful when walking around the building or in
the parking lots when it is cold and icy out.
If you need any assistance with repairs be sure
to tell a staff member so maintenance knows
and we can fix your repairs quickly!
Best wishes for a Happy New Year!
