EARLY LIFE

-believed a Messiah, or savior would come
to lead them out of exile

Messiah

-feared Jesus teaching as threat to their
power
-Jesus came to Jerusalem to celebrate
Passover was betrayed by Judas, a

-Jesus arrested, tried, crucified and died
