We Were Created to Worship

The true worship is knowing Allah (swt).
It is the main purpose of creation.
It requires continues education.
The Shaytaan is there until the hereafter.
The opposite must exist as well for balance.
The appointed guide existed since Adam
(as) untill Khatam (S)
The concept of a just authority lead by a just
leader is an option and not compulsion,
“God will never change a nation unless they
desire it”
Time Required after Legislation

How can the people learn to worship properly if the
role model who understands the meaning of worship
does not exist.
Especially immediately after the foundation period an
infallible human role model is required to train the
people after the legislation has been set.
History indicates that the legislation was just
completed before the death of the Messenger of Allah
(s).
Therefore the Muslims did not have enough time to
practice the complete legislation in its integrated form.
History indicates that the integrity of jurisprudence
mainly happened in the time of Imam Muhammad AlBaqir (as) and Imam Ja’far As-Sadiq (as), even in the
school of companions.
This proves that the integrity of the legislation requires
years and years of Muslim experience in achieving
the full extent of the legislation.
Maintaining Islam Requires an
Infallible Imam

IMAAMAT is required for
 Maintaining the religious legislation
 Its resources
 The interpretation of the Qur’aan
 The SUNNA of the Prophet (s)
○ The final two require the existence of an infallible.
The history indicates how the Infallible Imams (as) from
the household of the Prophet (s) saved Islam from the
threats, movements and ideologies after the death of
the Prophet (s) starting from the patience of Imam Ali
(as), sacrifice of Imam Hussain (as), the knowledge of
Imam As-Sadiq (as) and so on.
 They were the reason for the survival of pure Islam.

Ahlul Bayt (as) Saving Islam

What ever Ahlul Bayt (as) did was for the sake
of protecting Islam and its survival.
1. Patience of Imam Ali (as), his helping to the
political leaders of his time to save Islam
from the threats
2. Peace treaty of Imam Hassan (as)
3. The opposition and the sacrifice of Imam
Hussain (as)
4. The Jurisprudence and the theological
concepts of Imam Al-Baqir (as) & Imam AsSadiq (as).
5. Debates of Imam Ar-Ridha (as) with nonMuslims
6. The coming of the 12th Imam (aj)
Points by Sh. Abbas Kashif Al-Ghitaa’

The difference between the school of Ahlul Bayt (as)
and the school of the companions:
1. The concept of IMAAMAT or the divine leadership after
the Prophet (s) is from the roots of religion in the school
of Ahlul Bayt (as) and from the branches of religion in
the school of companions.
2. It is an obligation of God in the school of Ahlul Bayt (as)
In the school of companions it is obligation on the nation
to choose.
3. Though they were the political leaders the school of
Ahlul Bayt (as) considers their leadership invalid
intellectually and religiously. As mentioned previously
none of the Ahlul Bayt (as) gave pledge of allegiance to
them.
The IMAAMAH is as NABOOWA
The IMAMMAH is intellectually Proven as the
NOBOOWA, as both are divine authorities, and must be
chosen and appointed by Allah (swt), except for the rank
in some cases like the Prophet Muhammad (s) is better
than Imam Ali (as) and the other thing is revelation.
 Due to the shortage in the time of revelation, and the
requirement of the continuation of the period of
application and implementation after the Prophet [s],
someone must be available to continue the mission of
the Prophet [s].
 That deputy must be appointed by Allah [swt] and His
Prophet [s] for the assurance of proper application of the
laws for a certain period of time until the community
becomes mature enough to apply the divine legislation.
 Such was supposed to happen after the Prophet
Muhammad (s) and because such did not much of the
Muslim community went astray until now.

The Concept of the Occultation
The IMAAMAT is a legislation.
 It is as SALAAT.
 The Prophet (as) and Imam (as) or the
appointed deputy is an opportunity for the
community and the option is there for the
people to use it or abuse it.
 The occultation happened because the nation
abused such opportunity from the death of the
Prophet (s), such as abandoning the SALAAT
 The IMAM will reappear when there are
enough numbers to appreciate Him [aj] and
work for Him [aj].
