Classroom Policies:
Homework & Planners
Students copy their homework in the
beginning of each class into their planner. The
homework will also be on e-chalk. Please check
daily!
• If an assignment is not completed, a missing
homework slip will be sent home to be signed.
The student will need to complete the
assignment.
• 3 missing homework assignments = 1 demerit
• All tests will be sent home in a test folder,
that is to be signed and returned the next
day. In addition, all tests need to
be signed and returned.

Policies
• Vocabulary Word Ring: Each unit vocabulary
will be written on an index card. Quizzes
will follow.
• Positive: tickets earns a prize & whole
class “I like what I see”.
• Behavior Chart:
Green: Ready to learn
Yellow: Warning
Orange: Parent Contact
Pink: Demerit/Conduct
Policies
• Absences: If your child is absent,
they are required to make up the
missed work.
• Band Lessons: It is your child’s
responsibility to find out and make up
all the work that is missed when they
are out of the room.
Extra Learning
If your child is struggling with a
concept, please have him/her
come in.
• Extra Learning: @ 7:40am on
Tuesdays
• Please be on time!
• Those children who are unable to
attend in the morning, will be
provided with extra learning
during recess as needed.

equivalence and ordering.
- Build fractions from unit fractions
by applying and extending previous
understandings of operations on
whole numbers.
- Understand decimal notation for
fractions, and compare decimal
fractions.
Measurement and Data
- Solve problems involving measurement
and conversion of measurements
from a larger unit to a smaller unit.
- Represent and interpret data
- Geometric measurement: understand
concepts of angles and measuring
angles
Geometry
- Draw and identify lines and angles,
and classify shapes by properties of
their lines and angles.
