Determining Isosceles
 Isosceles Triangles will have 2 equal sides,
and one unequal. For example, Two sides
are 8meters long, And the base is 14meters
Determining Equilateral
 An equilateral triangle is a triangle with all
equal sides, hence the name Equilateral.
Determining Scalene
 Scalene Triangle’s have no equal sides.
They’re all congruent, and each angle is
equal to 60º!

Determining Right Triangles
 Its easy, there are 3 sides to a right triangle.
The legs, which are straight, and the
hypotenuse is a diagonal line. The angle of
the 2 legs is ALWAYS equal to 90 degrees.

 An Obtuse angle is an angle of a triangle
over 90 degrees.

Special Rules/Tips & Tricks
 There are a few special rules you ought to
remember when dealing with isosceles and/or
equilateral triangles. They are outlined below.
 1. If a triangle is equilateral, it is equiangular.
 2. If two angles of a triangle are congruent, they
are the base angles of an isosceles triangle.
 3. If a triangle is equiangular, it is equilateral.
Pythagorean Theory
If you have to find the Hypotenuse: Square
The Sides, And then add them, And then
find the square root of your result. If youre
looking for a leg, Square the Hypotenuse,
And the and the leg, then just subtract the
larger one to the smaller one then square
your result and that’s the leg.
