What is Geothermal?
 Four thousand miles beneath the earths surface, is double
layered! Under that, is MAGMA!!
 The Crust, Mantle, Outer core and Inner core, all have
Geothermal energy!!
 The crust is divided into plates, when they collide it forms
VOLCANOES!! Which gives out Geothermal Energy.

Renewable or not?
It is a renewable energy source,
because the water is restored by rainfall,
and the heat keeps going beneath the
earths surface!
We will NEVER run out!!
Where is it?
 The Earth’s core!! I know it is amazing!
 4,000 miles beneath the Earth’s surface you would find MAGMA!
 It is mostly in the North, in Iceland and in the west, such as
California, Nevada, Hawaii, Alaska, and Utah!

Advantages and disadvantages!
 Advantages: They don’t have to transport fuel, they
don’t burn fuel to generate electricity!
 Disadvantages: It’s not everywhere!! We can’t take it
all at one time.

Is it bad for nature?
 Yes, but it does very little damage to nature.
 It does not require any fossil fuel, And it doesn’t need
too be burned for the energy to work!

Fun Facts
There are power plants all over the world
using geothermal energy.
The geothermal energy source is not
used for many things… its main use is
electricity.
HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT!
