Knowing this first,
that there shall come
in the last days
scoffers, walking
after their own lusts
II Peter 3:3
These scoffers are
willingly ignorant
of 3 things:
1. The Creation
2. The Flood
3. The Coming
Judgment of God.
As it was in the days of Noah, so it
will be at the coming of the Son of
Man. For in the days before the flood,
people were eating and drinking,
marrying and giving in marriage, up
to the day Noah entered the ark; and
they knew nothing about what would
happen until the flood came
and took them all away.
Matthew 24:37-39
And as it was in the days of
Noah, so shall it be also in the
days of the Son of man. They ate,
they drank, they married wives,
they were given in marriage, until
the day that Noah entered into
the ark, and the flood came, and
destroyed them all.
Luke 17:26-27
Mt 24:39 … the flood
came and
took them all away.
Lk 17:27 … the flood
came and
destroyed them all.
Let’s Compare
1 Peter 3:20 – 8 survivors
2 Peter 3:5-6 – scoffers are
willingly ignorant … of the flood
Hebrews 11:7 Noah responded in
faith, saved his family and
condemned the world.
