Oh, do not pray for easy lives!
Pray to be stronger Vessels! Do
not pray for tasks equal to
your powers; pray for powers
equal to your tasks! Then the
doing of your work shall be no
miracle. But you shall be a
miracle. Every day you shall
wonder at yourself, at the
richness of life which has come
in you by the grace of God.

The Sustaining Qualities
B. god’S word to pArentS (Eph. 6:4)
“Fathers, do not exasperate your children, instead, bring them up in the training
and instruction of the Lord”
Ensure what you call “Loving Your Children”
is not the type that puts undo and meaningless
stress on their behalf. Parents treat your
children right in God’s eye sight and you can
not go wrong with them
1. Hook your wagon to this star…
Pro. 24:3 “By wisdom a house is built, and
through understanding it is established”
Think!, as a parent, before you act. Remember;
You are the adult in all these situations. You
have already learned from experience—Use It!!

The Sustaining Qualities
B. god’S word to pArentS
1. Hook your wagon to this star…
a) Parents—Simply Do This…Pro. 22:6
“Train a child in the way he should go, and
when he is old he will not turn from it”
Be particularly attentive to each individual need of each individual child. As the
parent you should be in sync with what
each of your children is special at doing.
Mold them towards that end…
b) Something to remember….
Punishment=Pain Discipline=Change&Growth
Punishment=The Past
Discipline=The Future
Punishment=Anger
Discipline=Love

son, but he who loves him is careful to
discipline him”
Be sure you hold a “Rod” of direction as
directed by the Bible…
2. If they fear you; Watch yourself!!...
1 Jn. 4:18 “There is no fear in love. But
perfect love drives out fear, because
fear has to do with punishment. The one
who fears is not made perfect in love”

—Lead By Example—
Being a good parent is what calls out to my
spirit. After not making the grade in the life of
my children during their more impressionable
yeArS; i’ve coMe to know And UnderStAnd thAt it
takes more than just a loud voice and stern
hand to train them. I so would love to make
things better than how I started. In my case
getting older did mean getting better as
father and provider. I just thank God that he
put up with me long enough to make a
difference.
I really do understand the training command now.

WHAT IT SAYS
This is my Bible, I am who my Bible say I
am, I can do what my Bible say I can do. I
have what my Bible say I have, my Bible
teaches my spirit, my spirit teaches my
mind, and my mind teaches my body. My
Bible is full of promises and commandments, my Bible has good and bad examples. How do I know my Bible is true? By
comparing scripture with scripture and
spiritual things with spiritual things. I
study my Bible to show myself approved,
rightly dividing the Word of God.
