Why Service learning is important?




I believe service learning is a fundamental key to
being a citizen
Service learning gives you a good feeling inside
Doing community does good for others in the
community
It also can make an impact all around the world
What community service did I do?
I chose to walk for Relay for Life
 Essentially, I was walking for the American
Cancer Society
 This event takes place annually all around
the world

Why I chose to do Relay For Life?
I chose Relay for Life because I have been
impacted by Cancer
 My mom was diagnosed with cancer, but
luckily we got it before it became to severe
 I feel blessed that I have not had problems
with Cancer, so I figure that is the least I
can do

How I feel about this community
service?
I feel that this is an easy but effective way
to reach out to a broad area of people
 Millions of people around the world have
been affected in some way by Cancer
 This is a great way to make a difference
and I am glad to be able to participate in it

