 Children’s Miracle Network is our primary philanthropy
focus. Nearly 160 children’s hospitals benefit from fund
raisings yearly. All monies raised stay in the local
community for patient care, new equipment and research
into children's diseases, illnesses, and injuries.
 Since 1986, Phi Mus have raised almost $4 million. Our
fund-raising goal is $500,000 each calendar year.

It Was a Big Hit!
This was our third Annual Volleyball
Tournament
 All the girls were at the tournament from 7
in the morning until 9 that night.
 I enjoyed the tournament because it was not
only for a great cause but it also gave me a
chance to spend time with all the girls!

Fun in the Sun!
Ready, Set, Spike!
Relay For Life


Relay for Life is a funfilled overnight event
designed to honor those
who have died from
cancer and the
survivorship of those who
have fought the battle of
cancer.
Relay for Life offers
something to everyone,
from newly diagnosed, to
caregivers and friends, to
long-term survivors.
Relay For Life
 Relay For life represents
the hope that those lost to
cancer will never be
forgotten, that those who
face cancer will be
supported, and that one
day cancer will be
eliminated.
Why community service is important
 Community service is great for everyone.
It gives
you the chance to do something that will benefit
someone else and most of the time it benefits more
than just one person. It allows you to give back to
the community, and to help the underprivileged.
My Experience
Throughout my adolescence I have always
been involved with community service.
Whether through opportunities with my
school or church I have always been able to
give back to the community through my
service.
 The service I have done through my sorority,
Phi Mu has both enhanced my experience and
my relationships with other sisters.

.PHI MU.
 Phi Mu is more than a sorority to me.
It
is my family here in Valdosta and has been
a window of opportunity. Being a Phi
Mu has opened the door to the community
and laid the foundation for many future
connections.
Give Back
Everyone should be required to give back
to the community.
 It is a great thing and has shown me that
helping people not only helps them but
helps you to be a better person.

The End!
Have a great summer!
Woohoo!!!
