The Best Title in the World
DO NOT underline, bold, or italicize the title.
DO NOT use a larger font for the title.





Set all margins at 1 inch.
Use a Times 12 or comparable font: not too
big and not too small!
Remember to double space your entire
paper, including the identifying information
at the top left of the first page.
Don’t add extra spacing above or below the
title.
Don’t add extra spacing between paragraphs.

Remember that in your paper, you must
 include evidence—supporting or refuting the
author’s claim—from at least two sources.

Remember that when you quote from,
paraphrase, or refer to information from an
outside source, you must provide an in-text
citation showing where you got the
information.

What goes in the sentence? What goes in the
parentheses?





The last page of your paper will be your
Works Cited page, where you will list your
two sources as well as the op-ed that you
reviewed.
Center the title Works Cited at the top.
Alphabetize the sources and op-ed.
Do not number them.
Do not bullet them.

Write at least one of these down, because you’ll need it for your Works
Cited page!

On your Works Cited page, include at least this info:
“Title of the web page.” Title of the website.
Date (abbreviate the month) you accessed
the site. Web. The site’s basic URL.

Example:
“Causes of Loneliness.” Web of Loneliness. 28 Feb.
2013. Web. <http://webofloneliness.com>.

You can also use Easy Bib to help you list a website on
your Works Cited page.
