Update
As of November 2008
Student interest and online enrollments continue to
grow at the campuses.
Number of online courses and academic programs
continue to grow at all campuses.
Campuses continue to invest significantly in online
course development and delivery.
Attendant online related student services & support
continues to expand at the campuses.
MUS Distance Education
 Published two quarterly centrally coordinated
ads for online learning that included
“hot/demand” courses and programs at each of
the eleven campuses.
 Web statistics revealed an average of more than
1000 hits per week at the MUS web site:
www.mus.edu/online
 Live faculty training webinars by online MUS
faculty revealed over 100 participants at the
eleven campuses. More under development.
MUS Distance Education
Reviewing BoR Policies to simply annual
reporting, better use the technologies.
Building a sustainable online faculty
resource library of training webinars.
Campuses share training, quality
standards for online courses, economies
of scale in securing licensed products.
Piloting a business model template for
sharing online courses/collaborations.
