Searching Tips
• Sponsored Links: links may be shaded in color, on the
side, or near top
– Advertisers paid for these sites to be listed
– May not be most relevant to your search
• Capitalization doesn’t matter
• Boolean Search – use AND, OR, NOT
– Ex Dolphins not Miami Dolphins
• Use quotation marks: “big cottonwood canyon”
– This forces a search for the EXACT sequence of words
• “ski” brings up skiing, skis, skier, skied
