Who coordinates?
• A State Department of Education representative,
such as: State Director of Education, or
NIMAS NIMAC State Coordinator, or State
Counsel, or State Director of Special Education,
etc.
What must they do?
• Sign Coordination Agreement
• Mail Copy to NIMAC

form at NIMAC
Next Steps . . .
• The SEA representative identifies
Authorized Users for your state.
• These authorized users will be identified
from among state, local, regional, or
educational agencies.
How are Authorized Users designated?
1. Complete web form at NIMAC site
2. The Authorized User signs the Limitation
of Use (LUA) Agreement before gaining
access to files.
3. The Authorized User mails LUA to
NIMAC.
What Happens Next?
• Once NIMAC has received the signed LUA
for the Authorized User, NIMAC will send
user id and password!
• Authorized User may download files!
• Authorized User may assign files to
Accessible Media Producers (AMPs)!
