• Build a web page that a user can enter an
address and get back their school
attendance information
• The web page would have the same lookn-feel of the school district’s website
• The web page needs to be kept simple
and user friendly

• Create a web service to delivery the
school information
• Enhancements to the IMS
– Create maps showing a school and its
attendance boundary
– Allow for another websites to create maps
from the AIMS IMS

• The current IMS didn’t meet the needs
and wants of the school district.
– Shows all schools
– Doesn’t visually relate the address location to
the school
