• The Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the
World Wide Web Consortium has an excellent
online document "How People with Disabilities
Use the Web".
• The section on Scenarios of People with
Disabilities Using the Web explains how specific
disabilities affect user access to the web.

• The Microsoft accessibility site lists Guides by
Impairment that describe the types of assistive
technology solutions for each of 5 disability
groups: Visual Impairments, Hearing
Impairments, Mobility Impairments, Language
Impairments, and Learning Impairments.
