Transcript WISCORS Change over 12-2014

Ensuring you IP Address is correct to be compatible with the
recent WISCORS change effective no later than 12/31/2014
Email from The WISCORS Administration Team
Users should be advised of two important changes that concern the on-going WISCORS Network software upgrade:
NOTICE of IP Address change:
As a reminder, all users with devices that are capable of using a DNS should be configured to use the following information:
wiscors.dot.wi.gov
Port Number: 2101
***For users with devices that cannot be configured to use a DNS, the new IP Address is now available***
130.47.252.87
Port Number: 2101
The old IP Address will continue to work for the next 3+ weeks to allow users adequate time to make the necessary configuration change, HOWEVER, the old
connection will be shutdown effective December 31. For continued access to WISCORS Network RTK access after December 31, users will need to update all
field devices to use either the DNS (preferred) or the new IP Address. Users are strongly encouraged to update all field equipment as soon as possible. (It is
estimated more than half of WISCORS Network RTK users will need to make this configuration change)
NOTICE of URL change for web browser access to WISCORS Web Server:
***Effective immediately, here is the new URL for access to the WISCORS Web Server***
https://wiscors.dot.wi.gov
Note: An internal redirect automatically adds the name of the virtual directory to the URL. Please update any web browser bookmarks. Work is still ongoing
to update the other WISCORS associated content web pages.
