and Nutritional Support Protocols

Pre-Disposing Factors:
Reactive hypoglycemia
B complex deficiency states
Calcium/magnesium deficiency
Psychological stress
Food allergy/sensitivity
Dietary Recommendations:
Eliminate all dairy products (except butter ),
gluten containing grains (breads), refined
carbohydrates, caffeine containing foods and
alcohol.
Increase protein and raw organic fresh foods.
Drink at least 8 glasses of filtered water daily
or certified bottled water without
formaldehyde or fluoride preservatives.
Primary Brain Chemicals:
GABA, Gamma amino butyric acid deficiency,
may be a cause of increased anxiety due to
lack of inhibition of excessive nervous firing
activity.
Serotonin deficiency may lead to anxiety
associated depression use 5HTP to correct
deficiency
Nerve stabilizers may be deficient such as Ltheanine, inositol, magnesium, potassium,
taurine, carnosine, etc. that reduce nervous
irritability.
Physiologic Evaluation:
Psychological Testing – Screening
questionairres, MBH II testing profile, and
one-on-one psychological testing
QEEG, quantitative EEG spectral analysis –
abnormal coherence patterns, anterior to
posterior voltage patterns and P300 index.
Platelet Bioamine Quantification – University
Labs and Monroe Medical Labs N.Y. –
Demonstrates disturbed conversion of amino
acids to NE,DP,Sr – Norepinephrine,
Dopamine, and Serotonin.
Common Deficiencies: Use Top of
Page Search Function at
www.NutriMedical.com
GABA – Gamma amino butyric acid
Inositol
Magnesium
Taurine
B-Vitamins especially B1 – Thiamine and B-6 – Pyridoxine
Molbdenum trace element for hydroxylase reaction to produce
NE,DP and Sr
DHEA, Pregnenolone - Adrenal hormonal deficiency
Digestive hormone deficiency – Longer peptides enter gut
circulation resulting in food allergic response
SCFA – Short Chain Fatty Acids – Feed small and large bowel
Calming Food Molecules: L-theanine (Green Tea special amino
acid), Omega 3 fatty acids (Krill with carrier Astaxanthine best)
Integrative Anti-anxiety
Approach:
Time management, scheduled relaxation and
meditation times
Avoid TV and excessive Internet multimedia
time.
Massage therapy, ‘hot rocks’, therapeutic
mud, spa salts such as Dead Sea,
aromatherapy and professional acupuncture
Integrative Therapies.
Psychotherapy and attitudinal shifts in
cognitive therapy by a professional
psychologist.
Monitoring Your Response:
Keep a diary daily.
Have a professional counsellor/mentor.
Review priorities in life to not have conflicting
world models and goals, such as two plans
that conflict.
Always get good restful sleep, with if needed
Melatonin topical or oral (always synthetic not
animal source), Valerian, GABA, Inositol and
Magnesium Taurate to calm before sleep
cycle.
Advanced Monitoring – Now and
Tomorrow’s Technologies:
P300 and QEEG monitoring with Lexicor Technologies Certified
Medical Specialist.
FMRI – Functional MRI shows promise for functional evaluation
of brain in anxiety and depression.
PET scan – Glucose and Oxygen metabolic evaluation of anxiety
and depression states.
Bioamine metabolism – Platelet NE, Dp, and Sr –
Norepinephrine, Dopamine and Serotonin, etc.
Nutrient Analysis in live white cells – Spectra Cell Labs of
Houston and Assay testing of cofactors for amino acid
hydroxylase activities for NE,Dp, Sr and also other enzymes
GABA, Inositol, and minerals such as Molybdenum needed as
cofactors, etc.
