The Atmosphere
by Adam Aquizap
T5 Atmosphere- is the layer

that surrounds the planet.
Weather- is the condition of
earths atmosphere at a
particular place and time.
The oxygen so characteristic
of our atmosphere was almost
all produced by plants
(cyanobacteria or, more
colloquially, blue-green algae).
Thus, the present composition
of the atmosphere is 79%
nitrogen, 20% oxygen, and 1%
other gases.
Elements we breath.


Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a
colorless, odorless, non-toxic
gas that in its solid form is
known as "dry ice".
Carbon monoxide
An odorless very
poisonous gas that
is a product of
incomplete
combustion of
carbon

Nitrogen- is a naturally
occurring element that is
essential growth and for
reproduction in both plants and
animals. It is found in amino
acids.
Oxygen is a colorless, tasteless
and odorless gas that makes up
21% of the air we breathe.
Everyone of those gasses except
carbon monoxide is a part of the
safe elements we breath in.
These are the gases that make up
the layer of gases Nitrogen 78%

The atmosphere
The Earth is surrounded by a blanket of air, which we call the atmosphere. It
reaches over 560 kilometers (348 miles) from the surface of the Earth, so
we are only able to see what occurs fairly close to the ground.
Water is an essential part of every living thing. Plants use water in deriving some of their
nutrients from minerals in the soil. These minerals have to be dissolved in water in order
to be absorbed by the plants. This is why a desert can be mineral-rich, yet support very
little plant life except during brief rainy periods.
