ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CITY/MUNICIPAL ANTI-DRUG ABUSE
COUNCILS
• Work closely with the DILG City/Municipal
Field Office on the implementation of MASA
MASID Program;
• Provide technical and administrative support;
and
• Act as secretariat.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
LIGA NG MGA BARANGAY
• Assist in the organization and orientation of
the MASA MASID Team;
• Collaborate with the MMTs in the
implementation of MASA MASID;
• Assist in coordinating with partner
organizations for the provision of aftercare and
livelihood program for the RDDs; and
• Conduct advocacy and information campaigns
against illegal drugs within their jurisdiction.

Provincial Government
 Ensure that the Anti-Drug Abuse Councils
are organized and operational in the
province, component cities, municipalities
and barangays;
 Provide support for the organization and
mobilization of the MASA MASID Team
and the Community Rehabilitation
Network;

 Provide support for the establishment of
the Community-Based Rehabilitation
Program;
