Goal 1
• Presented orientation to secondary teachers
about eligibility procedures to be in compliance
with OSSAA – Implementation of a Academic
Athletic Academy

activity absence procedures to be in compliance
with 10-day rule

Academic Athletic Academy
• Who attends?
– Student Athletes who receive a failing grade
– Are required to attend AAA until grade is above failing
• Data?
• 28 total student athletes

24 (85.7%) increased their grade to passing at some point during tutoring
13 student athletes still failed at least one class
8 student athletes passed some classes but failed others
15 student athletes increased their grade by more than 10 percentage
points
• 53 total classes
– 36 classes (66%) were passing at the end of the tri
– 39 classes (73.5%) were passing at some point in the tri
Goal 2
• Total number of drug test = 1254
• Random drug test = 249
• 7 positive drug tests - When a drug test is
positive continue collaborating with the parents,
student, head coach, director, athletic director,
and district counselor to provide support of
student
• Continue testing for steroid use
Goal 3
• Continue to implement Activity Accounts
procedures and policy professional
development
• Continue to include coaches in interviews
for assistant coaching jobs
• Continue to offer Food Handlers Permit
Course to faculty, coaches and community
volunteers on Campus through the Tulsa
County Health Department - for concession
stand purposes (3 this school year)

• Continue communication with Chamber of
Commerce and City of Bixby regarding
Athletic events
• Continue to communicate with community
through e-mails, telephone calls, faxes
connect-ed and website information
• Continue to utilize volunteers through the
BEST program
• Foster improved relationships and
understanding with Booster Club members
• Continue online transportation request for
activity events
• Provide poster calendars with district athletic events
throughout the community
• Continue to provide facilities to youth football, cheerleading,
wrestling, soccer and basketball
• Continue Hosting OSSAA Athletic Events

• Continue to promote the student and adult
athletic passes – sold $11,270 ($1,095.00 increase)
• Continue to prioritize the bond request and
develop purchasing procedure for this money
• Continue to seek appropriate grants and
donations

regards to cleanliness of athletic facilities
